How can your customer manage their bookings?
1.1 How to amend the date of my booking?

For nearly all queries before or after pick-up, your customer will need to log-on into their “manage booking” using their email (which the reservation has been made with) and reservation number .
This can be found at one the following places:
- On the header of the car homepage
- On their confirmation email
- Or using the link by adding your affiliateCode www.rentalcars.com/AccessMyBooking.do?affiliateCode=xxx

- Step 3 : Choose the relevant modification and follow the process
1.1 How to amend the date of my booking?
- Step 1 : Log in to the “Manage booking” area as per introduction
- Step 2 : Click on “Change booking”
or
- Step 3 : Choose in change booking “Dates/Time”
- Step 4 : Make the change required but do not forget to check the new price and the Terms & Conditions as it might be affected
- Step 5 : If you agree with the new price & Ts&Cs, click Accept and continue and a new voucher will be available for you.
If your customer needs to change something when your pick-up time is less than 48 hours away, please call us instead.
1.2 How to amend the main driver name of my booking ?
Step 1 : Login to the “Manage booking” area as per introduction
Step 2 : Click on “Change booking”
or
Step 3 : Choose in change booking “Driver details”
- Step 4 : make the change required in the pop up windows. Make sure the new driver has all the requirements needed as per Ts&Cs (credit card on the main driver’s name, valid driving license, etc)
1.3 How to amend the pick-up or drop-off location of my booking?
- Step 1 : Login to the “Manage booking” area as per introduction
- Step 2 : Click on “Change booking”
or
- Step 3 : Choose in change booking “Location”
- Step 4 : Make the change required in the pop up windows
Step 5 : If you agree with the new price & Ts&Cs, click Accept and continue and a new voucher will be available for you.
Do not forget to check the new price and the policy as it might change
*If the same car isn’t available after the amendment, Rentalcars will search for your customer the best option based on their need*
1.4 How to amend the car type of my booking?
- Step 1 : Login to the “Manage booking” area as per introduction
- Step 2 : Click on “Change booking”
or
- Step 3 : Choose in change booking “Your Car”
- Step 4 : Choose the new car you need by scrolling down the results. To make the search easier you can use the filters on the left hand side.
1.5 How can I add extras on my booking (extra driver)?
- Step 1 : Login to the “Manage booking” area as per introduction
- Step 2 : Scroll down to “Pick-up and Drop-off” details, and see the area “add another driver” the details for it
Make sure the additional driver has all the requirements needed as per Ts&Cs (a Full clean valid driving license, etc)
1.6 How can I add extras on my booking (baby seat, GPS...)?
- Step 1 : Login to the “Manage booking” area as per introduction
- Step 2 : Click on “Change booking”
or
- Step 3 : Choose in change booking “Extras”
- Step 4 : Select the extra(s) needed
- Step 5 : Once the extra is added, You will see the extra added to your booking. The amount and type of payment will be explained on the right side of the page
Please bear in mind that ‘extras’ are subject to supplier’s availability. For this reason, we cannot guarantee their availability and the customer will pay for them at the counter in the local currency.
